Homemade HUMMUS
WHAT YOU NEED
1 Fresh Lemon Juice
3 Cloves Shaved Garlic
1/2 Cup Tahini
4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 - 1/2 Cup Chickpeas. Drain and reserve half of the liquid.
1 Tbsp Cumin
1/2 Tsp Fleur de Sel
HOW TO MAKE IT
Add all of the ingredients and blitz in a blender or food processor until you have a smooth texture.
Then slowly add the reserved chickpea liquid until you reach your desired consistency. Pulse again gently to combine.
Taste test the hummus and gradually add a little bit of olive oil to reach the desired consistency and texture. For creamier version add more tahini and/or olive oil.
Plate, drizzle some evoo, za’atar, Aleppo peppers, pine nuts and serve!
